Wearin' Walmart

Ello! <-- If you don't understand that, you need to watch Labrynth and learn it!

Yesterday I took my five little pumpkins to the pumpkin patch! We went with the church like we do every year, we had pizza there, and it was all fabulous and fun! I ended up not cooking the potato soup since they fed us pizza. So I'll save that for another day. Winning!

Ok, let's talk about mom style. I'm going to be honest with you, I don't put near enough effort into looking cute anymore. I think the main reason I don't, is because I still haven't lost all the baby weight (from kid number four). In my mind, I don't want to spend a lot of money on fat clothes because, ya know, I'll be skinny again one day and I don't want them to go to waste lol! But in the meantime, I've still got to have cute clothes, right? Right!

I seriously love going to the mall! So do my kids. Even my boys! Did I mention they have putt putt golf and an arcade there? The bad thing is, our closest mall is an hour away. And Target. And Hobby Lobby. I know, say a prayer for me; it's awful. So I don't get to go there too much. You know where I do get to go a lot? Walmart. Hmmph. Yeah, big fun. ::eye roll:: And we don't have one of those pumped up, city slicker Walmarts, it's just basic. While I'm there, I usually take a trip through the clothes, and let me just say, I have been finding some pretty cute stuff! Fo cheeeappp!
This gold polka dotted sweatshirt was $9.88!!! Yes, I wore the orange necklace because it reminds me of little pumpkins and y'all know I'm festive. I also have A LOT of people to keep in clothes, so le price is nice. They have been having all kinds of cool shirts for less than ten bucks each. Here are a few I've picked up recently.
I gotta have my cardigans and this gray and black striped one was only 12 doll hairs. With new shirts come new jewelry. The prices on the accessories are craze amaze.
All of these were $5/each or less and I love the western feel of the earrings.

The long necklace was ONE DOLLAR! One! The fabu statement necklace was just $10. Also, did you notice my roots up there in those pics? Geeze, Louise! They are terribly terrible, so I really like to wear fabric headbands to hide my regrowth. Can you even refer to it as regrowth if it's that much lol?! Guess how much these headbands were. Did you guess? Well they were two dollars each at Family Dollar. Tell me I'm not the only one who gets super excited about good deals. [And for the record, I HATE the phrase 'you get what you pay for'. Ugh, can't stand it. I'm cheap!]

Of course I didn't plan on being a Walmart fashionista, but with prices that low, it just happened that way. Now don't get me wrong, I sure ain't rockin no mom jeans!!! Lawd, help me! I got a couple of decades before I jump on that train. I turned 29 in August and I'll just stay there, thank you very much. Maybe that's what I should have named my blog, Twenty-nine and Holding lol!

So go getcha some groceries and goodies! Just throw ya a $10 shirt and some $2.88 earrings in the buggy. It's amazing how a new shirt can make a momma feel sometimes. Heck, buy yourself two! And some new yoga pants if yours are getting pretty iffy. They have those for $12 too!

❤️ Jennifer
